“The booking over the phone was easily and quickly accomplished. The lady on the phone was very friendly, courteous and did all she could to satisfy our needs. She also gave me the benefit of her own experiences. The follow-up e-mail was received almost immediately and the info from the company operating the boats came within a couple of days and was very comprehensive. Very impressed - many thanks.”

“I found Waterways Holidays advert on the Internet and it looked interesting. The next day, Bank Holiday Monday I 'phoned and booked for a holiday starting less than 24 hours ahead. The booking process was easy and pleasant, even though I had to consult the family to agree our choice and 'phone back to complete the booking. Lesley gave me the boat yard's address over the 'phone and confirmation emails were received before I left home. Great experience and I'm on the boat now writing this review feeling very happy.”

“So relaxed We didn't make the final decision on which way to go until 5 minutes before sail. My wife a grandson actually prefers operating the locks and left the boat to me. Rained one day but we were prepared so. It didn't matter. People we met were so friendly and eager to give advice.”

“Brilliant web site, very easy to reserve the required boat. Contacted me the very next day and were happy to take my deposit later in the day at a more convenient time for me. Very useful confirmation e mail of my deposit with links included with lots of useful information.”

“This was our first time trying the leisurely pace of narrow boating so we looked for a boat that was local and the right size for two people. It's our 25th wedding anniversary this year and my wife said she wanted to go on a cruise so for fun I booked this (we are going on a real one later this year). We loved it, the weather was kind for us and we had a great time. Thank you Waterways for all you help, friendly approach and especially helping us realise thats it's fun for beginners. We will definitely be booking with you again.”
