“We were booking the holiday from the USA & Tudi Hawes was our contact with waterways holidays - her e mail correspondence with very prompt & informative & she gave us the confidence that all details would be taken care of. She advised us on the right narrowboat in the right location for our brief excursion not too far from London. We are now looking forward to the trip in late August.”

“Looking on line to find a suitable craft using the filters was easy, as was making the reservation. Zoe then telephoned to confirm, explain and take payment and was most pleasant through out. A good start to the holiday.”

“Really lovely people to deal with and flexible as to when I could speak to them. Due to my work commitments they extended my provisional booking by 24 hrs allowing me to speak to them on the weekend.....thank you.”

“Simple booking procedure however I do generally prefer instant confirmation when booking/buying online. When contacted to confirm details the agent was very helpful and when I queried parking arrangements offered to check and confirm with boat owners. Overall very happy with the provess”

“All communications, to this point, have been efficient and have answered my questions satisfactorily. The conversation surrounding the telephone booking was pleasantly carried out and we now eagerly look forward to our canalboat holiday.”

“Heather was very pleasant and talked me through the booking. She was able to answer most of my questions and was quick to find the answers when she couldn't. The whole process was quick and the confirmation details were promptly send back by email. This is the third time I've booked a holiday with Waterways Holidays and every time the operators are friendly and helpful.”

“Extremely friendly and professional service. The lady I spoke to on the phone could not have been more helpful. I appreciated the way the same person answered the phone (without a delay or a queue) and was able to deal with what I needed without having to pass me to someone else. A much more personable experience than with many companies.”

“Very upset that a 5% booking discount over a group booking was offered, but out of 3 boats in the party could only offer to 2 and we were offered nothing. Surely an offer like this should be spread evenly across the whole booking. I think its disgraceful and based on this would not book again”

Dear Mrs Shaw, Many thanks for your feedback. Each special offer is set by the operator of your chosen boats. In this instance your operator offers a multiboat booking discount equivalent in value to 5% of the hire cost of the second and third boats for a three boat booking. This discount is normally shared across all three boats as it is in effect treated as a single booking for three boats.
