“upon arrival at 1-30 after drivind 3h.5 hrs we waited till 3 for our boat which was not a problem at 2-30 when i asked how long boat would be the receptionist said this is check in time only so i said does that mean it could be 6 oclock ?? to which she replied yes we went to the mooring and spoke to the lads and they said it will be ready in 15 mins after getting the office text i spoke to another receptionist who was very pleasant and helpfull all the rest of your staff especially the mooring lads were great unfortunately the first receptionist appeared to be as if she didnt want to be there and was quite blunt and rude having said that the rest of the break was fantastic”

“Booking online was a simple process.. Trudi called the following morning to confirm, take payment and answer any questions we had. She went through the arrival process at the boatyard thoroughly and sent a confirmation email promptly. An exceptional service, thankyou!”

“Last year I booked with waterways holidays and after doing the online booking form I received a phone call in order to pay the deposit and clarify any points. This year I was sent a text and told to Ring then before 4 pm the following day or risk losing the booking. When I rang I was informed the 25% deposit was in fact 25% of the original price before the reduction and consequently this was more than I was anticipating paying having read the terms and conditions. Nowhere does it make this clear. I was told I would receive an email confirmation of the deposit payment and booking. That call and payment was made on the Monday and by the Friday I had received no such confirmation offend again and was told that this should come directly from the hire company and call would be made to follow it up. One day later I still have not received any receipt for the payment which has been taken and I don’t have any confirmation of the booking. The terms and conditions repeatedly referred to the confirmation of the booking however since I don’t have this I’ve currently paid out over £500 and have absolutely nothing in writing to confirm that the holiday is booked and a deposit has been received.”
