“I was disappointed that by making my reservation it didn't take me to a payment page where I could pay the deposit but presented me with a page informing me someone would be in touch OR I could call in myself. I chose to call in as it had taken us several days to settle on the choice of boat and venue and I wanted to ensure I got my selection secured. I rang and was immediately able to speak to a lovely lady who explained they like to go through the details of the reservation and ensure I had the right holiday before making the booking. It was a very positive experience, we discussed all aspects of the booking, the equipment on the boat and the times for collecting and returning the boat. I was reassured that all my details were correct and we proceeded to pay the deposit. I was told I should have confirmation of the booking by email later that afternoon but in fact the email came through within 10 minutes. A thoroughly pleasant experience and actually being able to discuss things over the phone was more reassuring than entering details onto a web page and clicking 'pay'. I would use waterways holidays again without hesitation.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Found us a boat that i hadn't considered looking for on line. On line I was looking for Mon-Fri without much luck , on the phone they suggested and found a boat for Tue-Sat , perfect solution. Also, very helpful with deciding on route in the time available. Getting very exited now for our first canal boat holiday.”

“This is the 3rd booking I have made through waterways. The agents have always been welcoming and informative and meet my needs/wants for the holiday in every way.
