“very easy to book took less than 15 minutes if that lady who phoned up was very pleasant and helpful no problems at all”

“We are from New Zealand, planning our first narrow boat excursion. Trudi from Waterways was very helpful, made some great suggestions and answered all my queries promptly. We are looking forward to our first canal boat trip, and will recommend Waterways to others”

“We looked at the web site and selected a boat, which was easy to do and completed an enquiry. We did this in the evening and got an email to let us know that our enquiry had been received. Next day we got a phone call to sort out the booking. I spoke to Dawn who was very pleasant and helpful and went through the details and told us what was included. We booked the holiday all very painless, easy and straightforward. If only all web site / customer services were as good! Now all we need is some good weather!”

“Helpful and knowledgeable staff. But website has room for improvement - you can't sort the results (e.g. by price), "Grade pending" for every boat?!! Would be nice to show more than 10 boats per page, and you can't change the dates you are searching for without re-selecting all your other criteria again. Also it's a pity there has to be a telephone confirmation stage in the booking process.”

“Website reservation worked very well and the lady who took the booking and deposit was friendly and efficient. However, it would have been far preferable to be able to go on and confirm the booking and payment via the website at the time.”

“Booking procedure was quick and straightforward,member of staff was knowledgeable and helpful. only gripe was the extras like damage waiver and fuel deposit not the same as on web site that i made my initial reservation. but am looking forward to my trip.”

“Great service, I rang and spoke to Lesley asking saying that I had 3 dogs to take on a boat and she said that someone would look into this for me the very next day as it was too late to speak to the boat owners. The very next day as promised Abi rang me and was aware of all needs which was nice as I did not have to explain, Abi was very efficient and friending making it easy to book my hols. We are looking forward to our trip, thank you”
