“Very easy, very friendly, good staff and hopefully a good holiday”

“A very prompt response to my online query and in less than 24 hours the trip was fully booked with fine details right down to the exact boat we'd be hiring; what we should bring in addition and how to find the boat yard all supplied. Nothing was too much trouble and it was a real pleasure to deal with them. Incredibly efficient and customer centric service provided.”

“After looking on the web site for a reasonably priced holiday, I found a suitable boat but needed to ask a few questions. I rang Gemma late one afternoon and she was very helpful in sorting out the queries and taking the booking. I was very impressed with the service and would have no hesitation in recommending waterways holidays to friends and family”

“Looking for a short break with the family, we decided on a canal break, after looking on the internet we came across waterways holidays which surpassed all our needs. Service was efficient,friendly and stress free. Can't wait for the holiday to begin if it's as good as the booking process it will be perfect.”

“The process was straightforward online and we were able to confirm booking and payment by phone within 24 hours. It was a welcome change to be able to speak to someone and not have to rely on a computer programme. The holiday was a great success and we would book with Black Prince again.”

“The booking process was quite straight forward, but as I had a question (which was dealt with over the phone very promptly) I was then asked to fill in the on line booking only to have a return call to take payment. It would have been quicker if this could have all been completed with my first call. Apart from that, the process was clean and straight forward.”

“We found Waterways after searching another well known holiday boating hire company. Waterways web site was very informative with lots of detail not only about the boat but other things, as newcomers to boating, we found very useful. Booking online was easy and we received a call back within 24 hours from the office to discuss our booking requirements. There was no waiting in a queue to talk to someone, we got straight through to the office. The assistant was very helpful, with good knowledge of the boat we wanted to book. My Wife is Blind and was able to discuss her own concerns about boating which were dealt with very informatively and with empathy of her poor eyesight and concern for her Guide Dog which was a nice touch. I have received not only booking confirmation but info about boating times, pubs/restaurants in the area and other useful information. We both felt very welcomed to the Waterways experience. We haven't yet taken our holiday, but are very much looking forward to it and if we enjoy the boating experience, we will undoubtedly turn to Waterways for our next booking! Very highly recommended to anyone else wondering whether or not to contact them.”
