“I could not find exactly what I wanted on the website so I phoned up and the person on the other end could not have been more helpful.”

“Website - clear and easy to use. Telephone contact - Having narrowed down my search, I found myself left with 3 possibilities and uncertain how to choose, so I rang the office. The staff member I spoke to was great - helpful, friendly and had a good knowledge of the boats and the routes. She listened to my requirements and based on these ended up guiding me to a different boat that I hadn't even spotted as an option. Booking process - I ended up booking over the phone. This was easy and efficient, with prompt confirmation e-mail from Waterways, e-mail confirmation from the boat yard the next day, and written documentation in the post a couple of days later.”

“I do not have my own boat and prefer to try different boats from around the Country. Waterways Holidays is a useful site for locating a boat to hire on or close to the route that I wish to take. It is quick and easy to use, especially after I have identified the particular boat I wish to hire. It is then quick and easy to see the dates it is available and the hire fees. I also like being able to access and print of details of boats i am interested in.”

“good site well set out more search options would be good ie .number of cabins as well as berths and show on the boat picture whether they can pass under bridges so you could narrow your search down. call centre very knowledgeable and efficent hope the holiday goes as well”

“I found the on line booking really easy to follow. I got a confirmation email back saying someone would call me in due course. I got that call in less than 15 minutes, chatted about the holiday and paid the deposit. Excellent service.”

“Very pleased with the service. I made a mistake with the email address, but was phoned later the day. Unfortunately the original booking was not available, but I was taken through available alternatives and a very similar baot at a similar price was found and booked.”
