“We had the "TULIP", a very nice boat. Everything you can think of is at the boat. The staff is very friendly and someone came with us and showed us how the locks work. After that we went away with the TULIP on the Grand Union Canal. We had a great week, the boat was doing fine! If we go back for another narrowboat trip we come back to you,”

“We hadn't even thought about a narrowboat holiday until two days before we booked and Waterways staff gave us fantastic help and advice. They were exceptionally patient and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely use them again (and we're now hooked on canal holidays!)”

“We did a booking on very short notice and used a combined internet and telephone contact. The staff of Waterways were extreme friendly and competent. We even got some hints what to do and to visit in the area of the trip. Our next boat we will book at Waterways again. Johannes Philipp”

“I made the reservation on a Sunday, I was telephoned on the Monday regarding the reservation by a very nice lady who helped with the booking and payment. She answered all the questions I asked. I also received email confirmation and info regarding the booking the next day. Thankyou.”

“Quick , easy, bottom line price upfront. Only one negative comment. I was charged a cancellation protection cost which was included in the total price. I would not have accepted this charge if I had known about it in advance.”

“Living in Australia I did all the communication via email. I found them to be helpful no matter who stupid the question may have been. I booked and paid way in advance as being during a school holiday period in the UK, myself and my party dont want to miss out on the trip of a lifetime. Stewart vMitchell”

“I booked the holiday and was called back within a couple of hours by a very helpful lady who went through all my details, all the info I needed for the holiday and processed my deposit. It is so nice to actually speak to someone rather than just entering your details on a website!”
