“Helpful staff, this was our first barging holiday, staff were able to give us good advice, on location and things to do, and what to expect,suggesting routes that would be better for us as novices.”

“Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They blocked the booking for 24h before making any payment to make sure that all people from my party was coming. I regret the 2% extra charge for credit card payment not mentioned at all earlier on.”

“I found the customer advisors extremely pleasant and would rate the experience as very good except that they were only contactable before 17:30 when the recorded message that you get when ringing their number says that they are available until 19:00. I personally have a problem in contacting them during 'normal' office hours which is why I booked on-line outside these hours in the first place. Hence the one star rating. John S. (Evesham)”

Dear Mr Shopland Many thanks for your feedback. Our offices are normally open until 7.00pm, but we were forced to close this past week at 5.30 due to unavoidable & unforeseen circumstances. Business hours will be back to normal from now. - We wish you a great holiday from all the team

“It was quick and painless. I have been provided all the information I needed and the staff went the extra mile to clarify all the details. They also called at a convenient time of day 10am in the morning, not in the middle of lunchtime, which I appreciate.”

“Called and actually got through to a lovely lady called Trudi, which was a bonus as wasn't an answerphone. Found her very helpful and knowledgeable and checked to see if we could still board boat late on the Friday of arrival, she phoned back and confirmed we could within the 5 mins. Looking forward to our first boating holiday and if all goes well and enjoyed by all we will definately re book with Waterways.”

“Thank you for your excellent booking service. When we went on-line to reserve our narrowboat within a very short time we received a telephone call explaining all the details of our trip, taking a deposit and a day later received an e-mail confirming everything. We are sure we are going to have a great holiday!!”
