“Excellent process. Website is very easy to use and I also phoned up beforehand and spoke to Dawn (I think that was the ladies name) to ask a couple of questions. She was so helpful and clear in her guidance. Once booked, I received a phone call from Abbie informing me of what I had to do next. The process of confirming and paying was also excellent. I am delighted with the service all round, especially the staff who were most helpful and informative. Many thanks indeed.”

“It was a great holiday. The boat was so well equipped and prepared. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definately use this company again at some stage in the future.”

“Stared by booking online with no problem - website easy to follow. I was contacted within the short timescale given by telephone. Spoke on two separate occasions and both people were helpful and very pleasant. Email confirmation arrived both from the hirer and Waterways Holidays within 48 hours with very precise and easy to understand information.”

“The web site was very easy to navigate and find the right boat, the photos, 360 videos were great to get a feel of the interior. Once the booking was sent, it was the following day that I had a phone call to clarify the booking and make the deposit. In fact we were out for the day and I made the deposit while I was sat drinking coffee overlooking A lake. Email confirmation both from waterways and the boat company followed and we are now ready for the holiday (after paying the final amount in a few weeks time).”

“I've contacted here to book my boat just approx. 30 hours before my hiring. But this company helped me very kindly and everything went smoothly. I could start and enjoy my Easter holiday without any troubles.”

“Booked holiday over the web and received a call back to confirm receipt of booking. Rang them back once all party had confirmed dates OK and dealt with Nigel who was lovely! Very easy to make deposit payment and confirmation e-mail with all booking details arrived within a few minutes. I had no problems at all booking my holiday and think if I had, there would not have been any issue in resolving it. I would have no hesitation in booking via Waterways Holidays again.”

“Very helpful telephone experience and the website was good but would benefit from more detail where needed. Put yourself in the position where you have never hired a boat before and then provide all the info needed for different age groups and sexes.”

Dear Mr Loftus Many thanks for your feedback and suggestions. We will look at adding a page for first timers later this year answering all of the possible questions that may occur including boat types, suitable routes and practical guidance - many thanks for the suggestion and have a great holiday.

“Fantastic service, as first timers we were unsure about the best place to visit and we were advised to start at Linden by the sales rep at Waterways. We had a great time, the information she gave us was invaluable and it was the best place for us. Very friendly staff, very easy to book, no trouble at all, Email confirmation immediately with all the information needed attached to the email. We will be having a boating holiday and will be using Waterways.”

“I telephoned and spoke to Abbi, who was very helpful. We spent some time looking at options and Abbi advised me well as she had plenty of knowledge. Our holiday was booked and all information came through quickly via email. I would definitely recommend Waterways to friends.”

“The process was straight forward and easy on line then I got a call the next morning. The lady was very pleasant. The only error was this email which is addressed to Mr Crowe and I am Mrs Crowe!”

“The service and information provided were excellent and the conformation sent promptly by email. If I could make one suggestion it would be that there is a place on the booking site that you can specify what time of day you would like to be called to confirm the booking and pay the deposit. I was lucky to be off work when I made the booking but it would have been difficult for me to take a daytime call had I not been. Having said that I found the process easy and informative with a lot of information already well presented on the website.”
