“A fast and efficient service. I was called back later on the day of my enquiry, and the booking was confimed.”

“It took a while to find my way around the site and decide which trip to take and for how long. We finally decided which craft we liked best. The canal boats are lovely but very long and narrow. Hence the name narrow boat I guess.. We preferred a wider beam so selected a 30 ft long with 12 ft beam cruiser with 4 births this seems roomy enough for two old folks to spend a few days floating along the Norfolk Broads for a weekend. Once the craft was selected the booking form sent off on the internet in the early morning. By 9am I had a reply by phone. A good natured lady talked me through the requirements and details I paid the full amount on the internet with my credit card and that was it. A short while later I received a confirmation email with all the details. If the same efficiency is continued through the handover and training I am sure we will have an unforgettable weekend break.”

“First time narrowboater. Dawn was patient, enthusiastic and a fountain of knowledge. She went an extra mile and called me a second time to clarify an issue about bikes. Could not have been more helpful.”

“Very friendly staff, lovely to speak to on the phone and very helpful. Would have given a better score but for one thing....the website. It looks unprofessional, dated, unappealing, busy not slick. Just comes across a bit amateurish. (I'm probably a harsh critic as I develop websites for a living) but still...you'd sell more holidays with a decent website. Time for an update.”

“We return to Waterways because the service has always been to the highest level. Whilst we sometimes use other suppliers due to location requirements, we have never had any cause for complaint when using Waterways, the staff from initial booking through to return of boat have excellent customer service skills.”
