“Although it was it was a pretty straightforward matter, my booking was dealt with very satisfactorily. Gemma was prompt, personable and knowledgeable -far more so than one usually encounters in these situations. The boatyard's follow up correspondence arrived through the post only a couple of days later.”

“Second person we spoke to sounded very interested in our booking and was kinder with our dithering! No answer from the boatyard yet though, no info at all and we start on Friday, 5 days away. So a bit concerning. Some info about the pick up and where exactly is the boatyard would be good. We have no info at all yet.”

“1st canal boat holiday so asked plenty of questions when booking. Made 2 calls, First Lady was called Gemma and really helpful as was the 2nd lady I spoke too but cannot remember her name, sorry ! Really helpful & knowledgable staff and booking was easy...hope our trip is as easy and pleasant ! Thanks.”

“We were very pleased with the service we received during the booking process. Upon arrival to collect our boat the service we received was excellent. We arrived an hour early and this was not a problem for them in fact, Kate Boats were more than happy to get us on our way early after showing us how to operate the boat & locks.”
