Had a very pleasant experience talking to Lesley who phoned me back after what I had thought was an online booking! It would have been much simpler to have been able to do everything online - instead of which you just register your interest and Waterways Holidays phone you back the next day to confirm. You then have to download a further booking form which you have to send to the Boat yard by post enclosing a cheque! As I said, very pleasant but rather archaic and unnecessarily complicated.

Dear Mr Smith. Many thanks for your kind review and feedback which is really appreciated. Just to confirm that a very small number of traditional Broads yacht stations choose to not to accept any form of card payment which we fully understand does make the booking process a little longer. For these few yards that don't acept cards, it is always possible to make an online bank transfer as an alternative to cheque payment. We wish you a very enjoyable sailing holiday.

Good website, comprehensive information and easy to navigate. Booked online and receive a prompt response by telephone. Very pleasant staff on the phone, order processed and email confirmation all received swiftly. Stress free :-)

Great service - I made the booking request one evening after work and the next day I received a phone call and completed the booking and made payment. Quick, efficient and easy. I will recommend you to my friends and family

Trying to book on line I had clicked the reservation button thinking there would another section to fill out to book a dingy / microwave and found I had already made the booking. Perhaps the form could be clearer( for poor sighted folk like me) indicating you are about to book/reserve the holiday at this point. Otherwise easy to do. The lady who rang us back to take payment was very helpful.

I found Nigel very friendly & informative. This will be our first boating holiday and Nigel helped us to decide on suitable canals and explained in detail the boats layout etc... This was one of the main reasons I booked with Waterways. Looking forward to the weekend break.

We were very pleased with the booking experience, we were abroad at the time and had difficulty with contact, eventually we had the pleasure of speaking to Abbie at Waterways Holidays who, in a friendly, professional manner, completed the booking for us.

I do not like the surcharge for using credit cards. It seems unfair to pass your business costs directly onto me when I do not see the benefit. It was too late in the process to change my mind this time but I would think twice next time. Other than that, your staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dear Mr Durkin, Many thanks for your positive review and thanks also for your feedback regarding credit card surcharges. These surcharges are only charged by some marinas whilst others make no surxcharge. No surcharges apply on any holiday to debit card payments. With anticipated reductions in credit card processing charges by the major card issuers later this year, it is hoped that such charges can be eradicated.
