“I tried to book a boat about 5pm yesterday and did not get the promised call or the phone answered when I rang you. When I rang again this morning I was told I would be called right back but it was an hour before Trudi called: the boat I wanted was no longer available. Trudi was very helpful and emailed me suggested alternatives. I had found another boat by then and Trudi rang immediately I had filled in the booking request, this time successfully booking the boat. More than happy with the service from Trudi but bit disappointed about missing the first boat, which was considerably less expensive.”

“I booked over the phone. The service was really good. Not only did I get a lot of useful advice about the boat, and holiday, I was also given information about the local supermarket for pre boarding supplies, and about doggy life jackets. So I was really pleased with the service I recieved. Janet C”

“A very polite and swift service. Everything managed in a pleasant, courteous way from the acknowledgment email, the follow-up telephone conversation through to the holiday booking confirmation. All done within 24 hours! I am greatly looking forward to my holiday.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn't rate very good because the homepage is not very comfortable. There are no filters, you can't sort by price or area, you can't search for a boatname or boatyard.”

“I have never booked a boating holiday before and the staff (Nigel) were very friendly and they went through in great detail everything we wanted to know. The booking was quick and simple to do and we are really looking forward to our trip”

“This was our first canal boat experience and we loved it. We booked the 'Madeleine' for three days through the online website for Kate's Boats at Stockton Marina, near Warwick. The booking of the vessel was very efficient and equally so, when we took delivery of the boat. The boat was very clean and the interior furnishings of a good quality. The staff were very helpful and our practical tutorial on how to handle the boat excellent. Many thanks to Peter for his patience and understanding in dealing with such novices. We would highly recommend hiring a vessel from Kate's Boats. We shall certainly book another trip! Violet and Simon (Hertfordshire)”
